FW 2018 | Blue Voyage & Passage of Petals
This collection embarks on a journey that harmonizes nature and culture, celebrating the artistry of natural dyes and handwoven textiles. Rooted in the rich traditions of northeastern Thailand, it collaborates with skilled local artisans who have inherited centuries-old techniques. The dyeing process draws from natural sources such as indigo, Shellac, and barks, which yield deep, earthy hues, alongside delicate shades of pink and green.
At the heart of this collection lies the exquisite silk ikat technique—an ancient craft that has been passed down through generations. By reinterpreting this heritage skill with a contemporary vision, the collection transforms time-honored craftsmanship into modern, wearable art. Each piece is a tribute to cultural legacy, weaving tradition and innovation into a seamless expression of style.
This collection has been a collaboration with Department of Science Service of the government of Thailand.
